These floors are made out of the same kind of boards that the settlers used when building their homes, barns and warehouses. As such, they have many of the personality features of antique woods, but without the extra distress and patina that come with time. These new woods are resilient and have all the unique character markings that go along with wide and long planks but are less costly than antique.
